McAleer Stone & Tile Restoration

Natural Stone & Period Floor Restoration
Installation • Maintenance • Refinement

About

With nearly three decades in the trade, each project is approached with practical knowledge gained from hands-on experience in installation, restoration and long-term maintenance.

All work is carried out personally, ensuring consistent quality, attention to detail and straightforward communication from first contact through to completion.

Stone Restoration

Most natural stone floors can be restored to a near-new finish when assessed and treated correctly.

Every floor is assessed individually. Stone type, previous treatments and wear patterns determine the correct restoration sequence.

Where previous treatments have been carried out incorrectly, processes can be adjusted to restore balance and finish.

Materials & Period Floors

Restoration, deep cleaning and protective sealing carried out on a wide range of natural stone and traditional floor surfaces.

Natural Stone:
Marble, limestone, travertine, sandstone, slate and other natural stone finishes requiring controlled mechanical restoration and correct sealing.

Period & Heritage Floors:
Terracotta, quarry tile and Georgian or Victorian style geometric floors requiring careful stripping, refinement and breathable resealing systems.

Each material demands a specific approach to ensure the floor is restored sympathetically and protected correctly for long-term performance.

Installation & Maintenance

High-quality tile and natural stone installation carried out with precision, correct preparation and long-term durability in mind.

Ongoing maintenance services including deep cleaning and resealing ensure floors remain in optimal condition long after installation or restoration.

Professional Collaboration

Restoration work is regularly undertaken within private homes, renovation projects and period property refurbishments.

Collaboration with architects, interior designers and building professionals ensures the correct specification, sympathetic restoration methods and long-term performance of natural stone and heritage floors.

Client Feedback

Clients often tell us they had considered lifting and replacing their floor before restoration — only to be surprised by what careful, correct process can achieve.

Contact

If you would like to discuss your floor, the best starting point is a brief phone conversation. Following this, photographs can be reviewed and, where appropriate, an on-site assessment arranged to determine the correct process.

Clear advice. Correct process. Work carried out properly.
